‘Hardship‘.. when i think about it, the very word itself is associated with ‘difficulties‘, ‘trials‘, and ‘uncertainties’ in life that one has to embrace. I keep thinking why when one says ‘im going through hardship…” it’s almost seem as if it is regarded as ‘an excessive burden that is almost intolerable to the point of almost breaking’

Why? I keep asking Why? (well if we have answers for every Whys i guess life would be a lot easier huh =D ) So, feel like God whispered to me and this is what i interpret ‘It is human nature to have fear and worries of things that are still ‘unknown‘ , ‘unseen‘, and ‘unpredictable‘, hardship is seen as a burden not because of the circumstances around it, but because of human’s inability to wait for a solution’

People commonly think that ‘hardship’ is the opposite of ‘happiness’, but i do encourage you to think of it as a ‘prelude to happiness’.

Why?

Because happiness is a personal effort, you fight for it,strive for it, and insist upon it.Once you achieve happiness you must never become relax about maintaining it, you must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on it. Hardship is there for you to be able to make a personal effort in fighting it until you reach the ultimate satisfaction of finally gripping the blessing of happiness.

Every being has to carry a given amount of hardship, and every being is given a given amount of blessing in return according to the approach in handling the given hardship. When a tree is planted where the fiercest winds crush its branches..nearly to the point of breaking, that tree is more firmly rooted than any other trees grown in a secluded valley with no storm.

Well, the winds and storms are our hardships, but like the tree.. the strongest and greatest character in us is grown through hardship.

Hardship is like a strong wind. it tears away from us all but the things that cannot be torn, so that we see ourselves as we really are - Memoirs of Geisha

Big daddy up there doesn’t give us ‘the blessing of happiness’ right in front of our door steps, instead he put it in a box and hide it for us to be like kids who excitedly play treasure hunting. The hunt will be tiring but whats being offered in that box surpasses all things imagined by human minds.

So dear friends, i hope by reading this you can change the way you view your hardships. Let it be your ‘fertilizer‘ and ‘secret ingredient‘ in life because we all know there is a greater rewards for those who silently wait.

‘Harship enhances this journey we call life’ …

A verse to be shared ‘Rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. (Romans 5:3-5)

“If you don’t like about something; change it, if you can’t change it, change how you think about it“~Mary Engelbreit

To be a survivor in this Amazing Race with the need for speed you need God’s Grace and if your desperate like housewives watching days of our lives, you can’t cope without hope and that is not on a soap. If your looking to Oprah or Dr. Phil you can shop non-stop or pop a pill, but the void won’t fill and the pain won’t kill until you love the one that hung on a hill. Kicking back in your lazy boy easy chair watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, nah your not gonna find it there. No American Idol or Council Tribal has the final answer that will satisfy ya. C. S. I. ain’t got a clue. S.V.U. Don’t know what to do Not the E R or those seen on a CD TV DVD or MP3 can save you and me. CNN has got no Good News here’s a headline you must choose. It’s not a simple life Paris Hilton, It’s treading on thin ice living in sin. You can be an apprentice for Donald Trump or eat Fear Factor fast food from a dump you can be a heavy hitter or wheel of fortune winner or a Fox news no spin spinner or flat sinner but you better check this life that your livin’ and make sure your sins are forgiven I bet cha 50 cent Elvis done come and went, and eventually every Black-eyed-pea, Gwen Stefani, P-Diddy and Britney. Every wanna-be on M T V with their Icy Bling, every Dixie Chick that Sings, they all gonna see the king of kings. I don’t care if your J-Lo, Leno or Bono. One thing you gotta know. Some day your gonna die, Bro. Then Where are you gonna go. Hey, i’m not talking some punk junk that is irrelevant. Like your Grandma’s church from way back when. It’s not some preacher feature on T B N. that you need to be liking or listening. The real superstar is Jesus Christ. He’s the way, the truth and the life. One day he’s gonna split the sky. He is the brightest light and the highest high and so what I came to say and what I’m telling you is don’t buy that stupid stuff they be selling ya it’s all designed to fill your head and waste your space until your dead here’s the bottom line in my rhyme. Give your life to God while there is still time.

AMEN!!

MUST WACTH!

Well, in God's word He said 365 different times, "Do not fear." Now if He says it that many times, you know He's serious about it, don't ya?

I cannot remember the last time I felt my life was going right.

The sad part about it is, when most people promise for better or for worse, they really only mean for the better.

unanswered prayers

Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers
Remember when you're talkin' to the man upstairs
Just because he doesn't answer doesn't mean he don't care
Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers

Coz I guess the Lord knows what He's doin' after all
Some of God's greatest gifts are all too often unanswered...
Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers

the bets are off.

Heres the thing that makes life so interesting. The theory of evolution claims that only the strong shall survive. Maybe so...maybe so...But the theory of competition says just because their the strong doesn't mean they cant get their ass's kicked. Thats right. See what every long shot, come from behind underdog will tell you is this. The other guy may in fact be the favorite, the odds maybe stacked against you, fair enough. But what the odds don't know is this isn't a math test. This is a completely different kind of test. One where PASSION has a funny way of trumping logic. So before you step up to the starting line, before the whistle blows, and the clock starts ticking. Just remember out here the results don't always add up. No matter what the stats may say, and the experts may think, and the commentators may have predicted, when the race is on all bets are off. Don't be surprised if someone decides to flip the script and take a pass on yelling uncle. And then suddenly as the old saying goes, we got ourselves our game!

dear God
in your majesty, you create differences
in my arrogance, i question your wisdom
in your mystery, you create temptation
in my inferiority, you make me more than i am
so here i am
surrender me in the agony of your love
surrender me in the irony of your law
and once again
here i am God

These are the words I would say

Three in the morning, and I'm still awake,
So I picked up a pen and a page, and I started writing,
Just what I'd say, If we were face to face,
I'd tell you just what you mean to me, I'd tell you these simple truths,

Last time we spoke, You said you were hurting,
And I felt your pain in my heart, I want to tell you,
That I keep on praying, Love will find you where you are,
I know cause I've already been there, So please hear these simple truths,

From one simple life to another,
I will say, Come find peace in the Father,

Be strong in the Lord and, Never give up hope,
You're going to do great things, I already know,
God's got His hand on you so, Don't live life in fear,
Forgive and forget, But don't forget why you're here,
Take your time and pray, Thank God for each day,
His love will find a way, These are the words I would say

Real Hero

should be like this person someday.
i will.promise.

And I will live to carry your compassion
To love a world that's broken
To be your hands and feet
And I will give with the life that I've been given
And go beyond religion to see the world be changed

dear self harm

Dear Self Harm,

I want you to know that it is over between us. I know I have said this before, but it has taken me every ounce of courage to say it now. You left when I was fifteen and I thought we were through, but then you came crawling back around my sixteenth birthday to show me we were not.

You made my family and friends concerned, and forced me to distance myself from them in order to keep you satisfied. They kept telling me how bad you were for me, but you kept tempting me to come back for more. And I did.

You visited me often, even at unspeakable hours, ready to scream and yell about how much I deserved you and how you were the only one to truly care about me. And that, no matter how much I hated you, I couldn't let you go because I was addicted to the pain you gave me.

You often lied to me, telling me that by listening to you I had control of emotions that I felt I couldn't handle. You kept telling me that the relief you gave me was worth more than the pain before and afterwards. But all you did by lying to me was you led me into a whirlpool of unmanageable guilt, frustration, and self-loathing.

Just in case you're wondering why I'm writing this letter, let me remind you of our fight. Remember how I hadn't seen you for a couple of weeks? And then a few days ago, you visited me while I was in bed? You wouldn't stop yelling at me, no matter how much I yelled back. You only stopped when I did as you told me. Except then you left me all alone. Left me with the tears, the guilt, and the pain of what you had just made me do. You left me all alone, not giving me the usual contentment and short-lived pleasure I felt when I listened to you.

It's going to be hard not being with you anymore, we've been together for five years now. The attachment we had with each other was huge, but it's time to move on. I don't want to be your slave anymore. I don't want to have to look at you when I change my clothes, when I have a shower, in the summer when I go swimming, or when I'm playing sport. Because you disgust me and it disgusts myself that I've put up with you for so long.

I know you won't miss me because you've got plenty of other friends to be with. I just wish you weren't so popular. I hope one day, they too, have the strength to get rid of you and you'll be all alone, just like you've made me feel for the past five years.

You're very enticing, but don't even think about coming back again because this is it. This is the end.

Goodbye.

the art of corporate mind control

Jordan Maxwell: The bottom line is that the government is getting what they ordered. They do not want your children to be educated. They do not want you to think too much. That is why our country and our world has become so proliferated with entertainments, mass media, television shows, amusement parks, drugs, alcohol, and every kind of entertainment to keep the human mind entertained so that you don't get in the way of important people by doing too much thinking. You better wake up and understand that there are people who are guiding your life and you don't even know it.

Howard Beale: We know things are bad, worse than bad. They're crazy. Its like everything everywhere is going crazy so we don't go out anymore. We sit in the house and slowly the world were living in is getting smaller and all we say is please at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel belted radios and I wont say anything, just leave us alone. Well I'm not going to leave you alone. I want you to get mad! I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the window, open it and stick your head out and yell, I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore! You've got to say, Im a human being God damn it, my life has value

George Carlin: But there's a reason, there's a reason. There's a reason for this. There's a reason education sucks and its the same reason it will never ever ever be fixed. Its never gonna get any better, don't look for it. Be happy with what you got, because the owners of this country don't want that. They don't want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don't want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They're not interested in that.

what faith can do

Everybody falls sometimes
Gotta find the strength to rise
From the ashes and make a new beginning
Anyone can feel the ache
You think its more than you can take
But you are stronger, stronger than you know

Don't you give up now
The sun will soon be shining
You gotta face the clouds
To find the silver lining

It doesn't matter what you've heard
Impossible is not a word
It's just a reason for someone not to try
Everybody's scared to death
When they decide to take that step
Out on the water
It'll be alright
Life is so much more
Than what your eyes are seeing
You will find your way
If you keep believing

Overcome the odds
You do have a chance
(That's what faith can do)
When the world says you can't
It'll tell you that you can!

Even if you fall sometimes
You will have the strength to rise

i've seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn't ever end
Even when the sky is falling
And I've seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That's what faith can do

WE ARE NOT AFRAID (I hope this gives you hell)

All american rejects held a concert in indonesia right on ours 64th Independence Day (07.17.09)
and from what i saw on youtube (tentunya) it was freaking awesome.
Tyson gave speech at the end of the concert. and hope that gives those terorist hell.

People of Jakarta, we have something in common. I gotta talk to you about it. We are not afraid. I stand in front of you tonight a person who has refused to fear. Fear is the fuel for the weak. And are we weak? We are the strong few who wield our instruments and songs as ammunition to fight the good fight against the oppressors, the bastards that use bombs and terrorism to kill the innocent.

Tonight is special because we celebrate merdeka! Tonight we celebrate your independence and the earth-shaking power that is freedom! Do you feel alive? Do you feel free? Our freedoms are the only wings we have to fly above the fear, so tonight we soar together and sing our freedom into the sky. We are not afraid!

People advised us after the bombings to reconsider coming to Jakarta. People told us that we should be afraid. But this suggestion only added the backbone to our band to do something bigger than life. We are not afraid!

We played for you tonight not just as a band. Not just as a band, but as the collective voice of Jakarta that screams into the night: FUCK THE TERRORISTS! I hope this gives you hell!
